Finding Joy in Collage Journaling (and a Little Update on Affiliate Links)

Lately, I’ve been having so much fun on TikTok. What started as just dipping my toes into posting has turned into a whole new adventure for me. I’ve really fallen in love with creating collage art journal pages and sharing them with the journaling community over there. Honestly, it feels like I’ve found a little corner of the internet where I truly belong.

I haven’t been painting as much as I normally would—mostly because of the whole termite situation (ugh, what a ride that’s been). But while my art room is slowly coming back together, I’ve leaned into journaling, collage, and art journaling as my creative outlet. And it’s been amazing. Not only has it given me a new flow of inspiration, but I’ve also met some really wonderful friends through TikTok who share the same love for paper, scissors, glue, and imagination.

It’s funny how things work out sometimes. While painting has always been my heart, this detour into collage and journaling has reminded me how many different ways creativity can show up. I’m figuring out where I want this career to go, and it feels exciting to be exploring new possibilities instead of feeling stuck.

On a practical note, today I also reapplied for my Amazon Affiliates account. That means I’ll be updating all of my affiliate links, so when I mention the supplies I love, you’ll be able to find them easily. I thought this would also be a perfect place to start keeping a running list of my favorite, most-used items—so if you ever want to try out the exact pens, glues, or paints I use, you can find them all here in one spot.
