Hi, I’m Christine.

I’m the artist behind Darlyssa Designs, where mixed-media art, storytelling, and slow, intuitive creativity come together.

I attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts for a short time, but the experience made a lasting impact. Studying dance and art there shaped how I approach my work today — with movement, layering, rhythm, and emotion at the center of the process.

While raising my two daughters, Darian and Alyssa (the inspiration behind the name Darlyssa), I never stopped creating. Art was always part of my life — made for joy, expression, and curiosity — even when it wasn’t something I could fully focus on as a career.

In recent years, I’ve been able to return to art with more intention, giving myself the space to explore, experiment, and allow my style to evolve naturally. My work blends collage, paint, texture, and personal symbolism, often inspired by everyday moments and lived experience.

I believe creativity isn’t about talent — it’s about showing up, experimenting, and allowing your voice to grow over time.
