A New Chapter Is Coming: My First Novel Is Almost Here

I have been keeping a little secret from some of you, although if you have been following along closely, you may already know bits and pieces.

I wrote a novel.

Not just an idea. Not just a few chapters tucked away in a folder. A whole book. A real story with mystery, romance, family secrets, danger, and a hidden place beneath the water that I have absolutely fallen in love with.

The book is called The House Beneath the Pier, and I am in the final stages of editing and preparing it for Amazon.

This story follows Dr. Talia Vale, a woman who returns to an old South Florida cottage after her life has shifted in ways she did not expect. At first, the cottage seems like a place to regroup, settle family matters, and figure out what comes next. But the more time Talia spends there, the more she realizes the house has been holding secrets for a very long time.

Old photographs. Strange files. Clues connected to her parents’ research. A mystery beneath the pier. And eventually, the discovery of something hidden below the surface that should not exist, but does.

There is also Caleb, a boat captain with his own connection to the water, the town, and the secrets surrounding the cottage. Their relationship grows slowly in the middle of all the mystery, but trust is not simple when everyone seems to know more than they are saying.

I do not want to give away too much yet, because part of the fun is discovering the story the way Talia does, piece by piece. But I will say this: The House Beneath the Pier has a little bit of everything I love. Coastal atmosphere. Family history. Romance. Mystery. Hidden technology. A sense of wonder. And that feeling that something extraordinary might be tucked just beneath an ordinary place.

Writing this book has been such a different kind of creative project for me. Most of you know me through mixed media art, paper crafting, YouTube videos, and life in the art room. But storytelling has always been another form of creating. Instead of paint, paper, glue, and texture, this project was built with characters, secrets, scenes, and emotions.

And honestly, it has surprised me how much it feels connected to my art.

The same part of me that loves old paper, hidden layers, weathered textures, and forgotten stories is the part of me that wrote this book. It is still very much me, just in novel form.

Right now, I am working through the final edits, checking continuity, polishing the details, and getting everything ready to upload. My hope is to have it available very soon on Amazon.

Once the book is live, I will let you all know and will add the direct Amazon link here in my blog and my other social media spaces.

I will also be adding a Kindle Unlimited link for anyone who uses Kindle Unlimited. That means you may be able to read the book through Kindle Unlimited once everything is set up. If you don’t have Kindle Unlimited yet, below you will find the link so you can check it out and be ready when the book is dropped. But you don’t need KU to read my book. You may purchase it directly from Amazon in digital and paperback version.

I am so excited to share this next creative chapter with you. Whether you have been here for the art, the YouTube videos, the behind-the-scenes chaos, the projects, the encouragement, or just the cozy creative company, thank you for being part of this journey.

This book is something I have poured my heart into, and I cannot wait for you to meet Talia, Caleb, and the secrets waiting beneath the pier.

More details coming soon.

With love,
