Glowforge Wooden Tags – A Simple Idea That Turned Into Something Special
There’s something really satisfying about taking a simple piece of wood and turning it into something fun. That’s exactly what I created with these wooden tags.
I started designing them using my Glowforge, just experimenting with shapes, words, and designs that made me laugh. What I didn’t expect was how much joy it would bring to people as they read each quote aloud.
These tags were created for my Painted Tree booth and as I watch my booth through the camera and listened to people laughing, I knew I had to keep making them. They were a hit! It’s so satisfying to know that I may have brightened someone’s day,
From Idea to Finished Tag
The process is one of my favorite parts. I design each piece, cut and engrave it with the Glowforge, and then finish it so it feels complete. They are items that define a funny quality in yourself or someone you know. Something you’d want to keep, gift, or even display.

I’ve officially listed the first four tags in my shop 🎉
And I’m working on getting the rest uploaded over the next few days.

These are truly one-of-a-kind pieces, and I love the idea of them finding their way into someone else’s space or story.
